Margaret Murphy is the CEO and President of Great Lakes Scrip Center, a subsidiary of Bold Orange Company.
Margaret’s background expands the incentive, loyalty, and CRM industries. Her passion is in helping brands and communities connect and she believes fostering authentic human connections is the single most important driver of business and societal progress.
Her 25-year career has included leading private and publicly-held companies including Olson, a top 3 independent digital agency, Denali Marketing, a loyalty and CRM company, and Carlson Marketing Group, a leader in incentive and loyalty marketing. Margaret currently oversees GLSC as well as Bold Orange, a modern loyalty and CRM company.
Named a “Woman to Watch” and a winner of the “Top 40 Under Forty,” by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, Margaret’s strength is in building cultures that foster empowerment, growth and scale.
Margaret serves on several boards including the College of Saint Benedict, Platinum Bank, and Catholic Charities, a leader in solving poverty, creating opportunity, and advocating for justice in the community.

Jill Whalen is the Vice President of Retail Partnerships at Great Lakes Scrip Center and has held that position since 2012. In total, Whalen has worked at GLSC for over nine years, having been a Fulfillment Team Member, an IT Support Manager, and a Customer Support Manager before taking on her current position.
Over her time at GLSC, Whalen has cultivated the company’s Customer Service department and has nurtured excellent relationships with GLSC’s retail partners. Having a bit of a technology background, and having used scrip to fundraise herself, she is excited about the future of GLSC incorporating more technology into fundraising to help more families support the things that matter.

Brian Snodgrass has been the Director of IT at Great Lakes Scrip Center for four years, while also overseeing operations in the fulfillment department. Snodgrass has been the catalyst in transforming GLSC from a fulfillment company to a technology-focused company and was instrumental in the creation of the ShopWithScrip 2.0 website and the launch of MyScripWallet.com.
He loves coming to work every day and helping families and organizations raise money for what is most important to them. That’s why he wants to continue to make scrip fundraising even easier, more fun, and more rewarding for families.

Emily Ploeg has been a part of Great Lakes Scrip Center for five years. In her time here, she has served as both the Customer Service Manager and more recently, the Director of Operations. Ploeg led the way in growing our Customer Support Team, and developed the department into the knowledgeable and caring representatives we have today.
Her favorite part about GLSC is our company culture and the people she gets to work with every single day, and she is most excited about GLSC’s motivation to continuously improve and to help the company grow even more in the years to come.
